Booking Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy

• To cancel or reschedule your lesson you must log into this website and change/cancel your booking.

• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will be charged the full fee (no refund).

• You will also be charged the full fee if you:

  • Are more than 15 minutes late for your lesson.
  • Do not show up for your lesson (no-show).
  • Are unfit to drive at the time of your lesson.
  • Cannot provide a current Learners Permit at the time of your lesson.

 

Refund Policy

• Refunds will be issued where a lesson is cancelled more than 24 hours prior.

• Cancellations after this time will not be refunded.

Lesson Start Time

• You are responsible for being on time for the commencement of your lesson.

• If you are late your lesson will be shortened by the number of minutes you are late and will still end at the originally designated time.

 

Pricing:

• All prices include Goods & Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 10%.
   

Unused Lessons:

• Prepaid lessons cannot be refunded, but they can be transferred to another person with written permission from you and Newton Driving School.
   

Lesson Packages:

• Prepaid lesson packages expire after 12 months and can be used to book lessons any time.

Cancellation by Newton Driving School:

• If Newton Driving School needs to cancel or end your lesson early due to unforeseen circumstances, they will do one of the following:

  • Provide you with a replacement lesson.

  • Add the equivalent time lost to your next lesson.
